Territory Appeal Process for Group Projects

If one team member attends a school outside of the NJRSF territory, then you must submit a Territory Appeal in order to be considered for participation in the NJRSF. The steps to complete the Territory Appeal process are as follows:

  1. Establish an Account on the NJRSF website if you are new to the Fair.
  2. Register your project.
  3. Download the NJRSF Research Plan Form, complete the form, and save it. To upload the completed form, go to the Students tab on the navbar and click on Entry Status in the drop-down. You must be logged in for this link to function properly. Here you will find a link to upload ISEF Forms, which includes the NJRSF Research Plan Form.
  4. Download and complete the Territory_Appeal_Form_for_Groups. Save the completed form as instructed and email to registration@njrsf.org.

All NJRSF and ISEF forms are fillable PDF forms that MUST be completed and saved using Adobe Acrobat Reader version 15.0 or higher. You can download and install the software for free from the Adobe website. Note for Mac users: the default PDF Viewer in Safari does not save forms properly and must not be used.

Upon receipt of all materials, the NJRSF Organizing Committee will make a decision as to whether or not your project will be allowed to participate. The NJRSF will communicate with the alternative ISEF-affiliated fair and obtain a waiver, as needed. You will be notified of our decision via email.
